Today we carried out a colour mixing experiment using Skittles and warm water. The shells of the Skittles are made from sugar and when it mixed
with the warm water the shells began to dissolve. As the colours met they all mixed together to create different colours. There was great excitement in the class and the boys and girls enjoyed eating a few leftover sweets!
